Recurring Yeast Infection Treatment

What the hang is going on?!

You’ve just come through yet another blimmin’ brush with Thrush, you were beginning to relax and enjoy life again, then you feel it….

That bit of an itch – that slight burn or that really fuzzy feeling in your mouth ………

And the worst part is that no one seems to ‘get it’.  Having a recurring yeast infection doesn’t just affect you physically, there is a whole emotional level involved that no-one understands.

Your doctor just throws some more cream and tablets at you. Your partner just rolls his eyes and gets frustrated with you and your kids are sick of you being grumpy all the time.

The good news is that you are not alone and that this can be beaten permanently.

I have been there, in fact my record for number of infections in a year is 14. Yup, more than one a month. Another person who knows what you are going through is actually a guy called Ryan Shea, except he didn’t just have your average skin yeast infection, no. He had a full blown systemic infection and beat it- you can hear Ryans story here

So why is this recurring yeast infection picking on you?

And more importantly, when will it stop?

Before we go any further I need to know how prepared you are to beat this thing.

Seriously.

If you still believe that there is a quick fix cream or pill that will cure your recurring yeast infection then I’m afraid that you do need to hit the back button on your browser and keep searching. I really do wish you well with your search.

But if you have tried treatment after treatment to cure your Candida and keep ending up with worse infections, then you will have realized that what you have been doing is treating the symptoms, not getting to the cause.

There is an age old saying that is used so many ways by so many people but that is also so true for your health.

“If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got”

If you have not been successful with treating your recurring yeast infection so far and are continuing to suffer then it is time to change the way you are attacking it.

Why is treating the cause of a recurring yeast infection so important?

Your body is designed to deal with Candida and to stamp out any infection quickly. The fact that you have a recurring yeast infection means that your body’s immune system has been compromised somehow.

  • Sometimes this can just be because you are run down, sleep deprived or under extreme stress.
  • Sometimes there can be an outside influence like heavy metal poisoning, pesticide residue or allergy that is causing the immune system to not function properly.
  • In other cases your recurring yeast infection can be an early warning that something is going terribly wrong inside you and it has even been linked to MS, HIV, CFS, Diabetes, Endometriosis, Cancer and a whole host of other incredibly serious autoimmune conditions.

So how do you cure a recurring yeast infection?

1) Find your ‘weakness’

Candida lives within all of us and is an important part of our defense system. It is only when this system has been compromised somehow that the Candida mutate into the fungus that is responsible for your symptoms.

There are many ways that this imbalance occurs, so the first step in treating your recurring yeast infection needs to be finding out what your particular cause or ‘trigger’ is.

Here are a few common triggers that may sound familiar;

  • Being infected and just treating the symptoms – whether you have been taking a cocktail of over-the-counter anti-fungal medications or using natural home remedies and applying them topically to relieve your symptoms.
  • A poor diet – high in sugar, refined carbohydrates etc
  • A diet that actually aggravates your allergies and sensitivities
  • Stress
  • Sleep deprivation
  • Obesity

2) The next step is to combine nutritional supplements with natural remedies to deal to the infection at the same time as strengthening your immune system

3) Now that you have worked on the Candida part of your recurring yeast infection, you now also need to address the build up of toxins created by the Candida fungus. This involves flushing and cleansing your kidneys and liver. This will allow them to  start working at full speed again.
