Are you feeling sick but nobody can explain why?
Could You Have a Systemic Candida Infection? Find Out Here.
You get a systemic Candida infection when the Candida fungus finds its way into the bloodstream and internal organs.
From there it can cause secondary infections throughout the internal systems and as well as directly affecting how the individual organs work.
What many people do not know is that the reason that you feel so lousy and lethargic is because of the toxins that the Candida fungus is releasing into your system.
Your immune system is now so compromised it can no longer deal with the infections caused by the Candida.
The major difficulty with this stage of infection is that that because of the variety of internal parts that may be attacked, the symptoms can be too varied or subtle for a definite diagnosis to be made.
So how does Candida reach our System?
Actually, very easily.
If you leave a primary infection – like tinea, oral or genital thrush, or any skin infection untreated it can very easily spread into the intestinal tract. This is usually through any open wound, surgery, a long course of antibiotics, catheterization or simply by having lowered immunity – as in HIV or even extreme stress.
Systemic Candida often starts in the digestive tract and symptoms of this may include; gas, cramps, diarrhoea, constipation, heartburn, indigestion and nausea. One of the big indicators that you have a Systemic Candida infection in the digestive tract is that you may have cravings for sugar, starches and alcohol.
The drawback from these cravings is that the more of these that you have, the more you feed the fungi, who will multiply, creating more toxins and making you feel far worse!
If the Candida is left untreated at this point then it is a very easy jump from the digestive tract to the bloodstream, from there it will have an ‘all access pass’ to every part of your body.
The immune system begins to come under severe pressure and naturally begins to struggle. As the Systemic Candida spreads through the body and lands on the different organs and tissue your symptoms begin to grow more diverse and involved. They can range from high fevers and blurred vision to eczema, depression and heart murmurs. Many will worsen when you eat sugary food, and when the weather is damp and humid. All the conditions that mold thrives in.
Specific signs and symptoms obviously depend on the site of infection but here is a short list:
- Eczema
- Jumpy Legs
Blurred vision- Skin lesions
- Leaky Gut Syndrome
- Depression
- Thyroid function anomalies
- Increased susceptibility to infections
- Chronic fatigue,
- Depression
- Muscular and joint aches
- An ‘itchy bum’.

- Cough, chest infections
These are only a few of the numerous symptoms of Systemic Candida and many can also be attributed to other causes. If you are experiencing many of the above in combination and are having trouble getting a definite diagnosis for your symptoms then it may pay to assume that a systemic candida infection is playing a part.
In fact many medical professionals are now linking debilitating conditions such as MS, CFS, ADHD, Endometriosis, Schizophrenia, IBS, Crohns, Hypothyroidism, Adrenal Gland dysfunction and a variety of other diseases as having systemic candida as their cause.
